Abstract

Film Wonder Woman (2017) dan Mulan (2020) memiliki kemiripan pola struktur naratif. Namun, beberapa fase perjalanan pahlawan perempuan Maureen Murdock dirasa kurang relevan dalam menjelaskan struktur naratif dua film tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji alur perjalanan pahlawan perempuan kedua film. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dan pendekatan observasi sinema dengan analisis tekstual dalam visual. Terdapat delapan fase perjalanan pahlawan perempuan di kedua film: dunia biasa, kesadaran untuk pergi, mempersiapkan perjalanan, dunia laki-laki, cobaan, krisis, kebangkitan, dan kehidupan baru. Perjalanan pahlawan perempuan kedua film juga berisi kritik feminisme terhadap pandangan psikoanalisis.
