Sinema 2D versus 3D

Since 2009, 3D films have been popular. Some researches have shown that 2 out of 3 viewers prefer watching movies in 3D format to 2D format. This paper will discuss the phenomenon of 3D cinema that echoes Jean-François Lyotard’s theory on differend, which reconciles the opposition of text and image since Immanuel Kant.
